Coin IDs

Coins have symbols just like stocks. But unlike stock symbols, coin symbols are not unique – which leads to the concept of a coin ID. A coin ID is a unique coin identifier that disambiguates a coin no matter what symbol it has.

Coin IDs are not needed in most cases. But take Statera and Starta: they share the symbol STA. When the system detects a collision, the user is prompted to enter a coin ID too (in the create / update coin form).
